Overall goal


Catholic Relief Services (CRS) und die lokalen Partner in Bosnien und Herzegowina (BiH) und Moldau (MD) werden im Rahmen des Call for Proposals 'Initiative against Trafficking in Human Beings with focus on women and girls in SEE' ein zweijahres Projekt implementieren. CRS und ihre sieben lokalen Partner möchten junge Frauen in BiH und in Moldau dabei stärken, sichere Entscheidungen im Leben zu treffen. Dieses Ziel wird durch eine dreiteilige Strategie erzielt:


1. Schulische peer-to-peer Aktivitäten, um die jungen Frauen im Schulalter in Jugendinitiativen, welche Themen wie Gender Rollen, Lebensentscheidungen, Konfliktlösung, Bewusstsein über Menschenhandel, Stärkung, Werte und Karrierenplanung und -möglichkeiten behandeln, zu integrieren. Diese schulischen Aktivitäten sollen die Vernetzung zwischen jungen Frauen untereinander und deren soziale Integration in das Gesellschaftsleben verbessern.

2. Entwicklung von Berufsfertigkeiten bei jungen Frauen im letzten Ausbildungsjahr oder bei jenen, die schon die Schule kürzlich abgeschlossen haben. Berufsausbildung kann Computertraining, Näharbeiten, Friseurausbildung oder Berufsberatung und andere Fähigkeiten, für welche Bedarf auf dem lokalen Arbeitsmarkt besteht und welche die Vermittlungschancen junger Frauen erhöhen kann, umfassen.

3. Verbindung gefährdeter junger Frauen mit Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten durch Förderung von Praktika oder Lehrstellen nach Abschluss der Berufsausbildungsprogramme. Zusätzlich wird das Projekt auf lokaler Ebene Verbindungen zwischen Wirtschaftstreibenden, lokalen NROs, lokalen Regierungen und lokalen Arbeitsämtern schaffen, um Möglichkeiten für die Schaffung und Erhaltung von Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten zu identifizieren.

Menschenhandel ist ein regionales Problem, welches nicht nur von Land zu Land behandelt werden kann, deshalb wird CRS Partner aus BiH, Moldau und anderen Ländern der Region zusammenbringen, um die lessons learnt über Empowerment von jungen Frauen weiterzugeben.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
