Das Interdisziplinäre Forschungsinstitut für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit (IEZ) veranstaltet von 17. bis 22. Oktober 2008 im Linzer Programmkino Moviemento zum fünften Mal entwicklungspolitische Filmtage.

Zum diesjährigen Schwerpunkt Ghana werden ca. 8 Spiel- und Dokumentarfilme präsentiert. Begleitend dazu finden Podiumsdiskussionen, ein Kulturprogramm im Moviemento Kino und ein Fest mit kulturellen Beiträgen und Kulinarik aus der Region statt.

Die fünften Entwicklungspolitischen Filmtage Linz wollen einen analytischen und kritischen Blick auf Ghana betreffende historische, politische und ökonomische Entwicklungen werfen, über die kulturelle Vielfalt und landschaftliche Schönheit des Landes informieren, und zu einem besseren Verständnis für entwicklungspolitische Probleme der Länder Westafrikas beitragen.

Zielgruppen des Projekts sind kulturtouristisch und gesellschaftspolitisch interessierte Menschen, Personen mit Interesse an kolonialhistorischen und entwicklungspolitischen Themen sowie ein allgemein filminteressiertes Publikum.

Die Erstellung einer Homepage für die Veranstaltung und Medienkooperationen (mit Ö1, ORF-Landesstudio OÖ, dem freien Stadtradio "Radio FRO", dem Stadtfernsehen LT1 und Printmedien) sind vorgesehen.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 15.733,75 in der Höhe von EUR 4.000,00 (25,42%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
