Overall goal


Die Initiative Eine Welt (IEW) bringt mit einem vielfältigen Bildungs- und Kulturprogramm entwicklungspolitische Themen in Braunau und im Raum Innviertel in die öffentliche Diskussion ein. Das Informationsbüro steht in Kooperation mit dem Weltladen Braunau und ist Kontaktstelle der Südwind-Agentur. Die Aktivitäten umfassen Beratung zu entwicklungspolitischen und interkulturellen Fragen, Veranstaltungen und Vorträge und Verleih von Medien. Das Angebot richtet sich an die allgemeine Öffentlichkeit, entwicklungspolitisch Interessierte und MultiplikatorInnen. Ein Schwerpunkt in der Region ist die Agenda 21. Die Geschäftsstelle Innviertel arbeitet mit dem Informationsbüro zusammen. Das Handlungsfeld wird so auf einen größeren Teil von Oberösterreich ausgedehnt. Diese Zusammenarbeit soll in den kommenden zwei Jahren weiter ausgebaut werden. Ziel ist es, bestehende Kontakte und Know-how zu nutzen und in der Region in Bezug auf Nachhaltigkeit und globale Fairness meinungsbildend wirken.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 80.000.- in der Höhe von Euro 52.000.- (65 %) für 2 Jahre gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
