Short Description:

Overall goal


Geplant sind vier neue bzw. weiterentwickelte Programme, die speziell auf die Verwirklichung d. Bologna-Ziele u. d. Bekämpfung des "Brain Drain" abzielen:

1. Den Schwerpunkt bildet das Course-Development-Program, das auf d. Schaffung methodisch wie inhaltlich innovativer, ECTS-kompatibler Lehrveranstaltungen abzielt; zur Verfügung gestellt werden Stipendien für den/die betreffende UniversitätslehrerIn, die erforderliche wissenschaftliche Literatur, die Kosten für die Schaffung von Lehrmaterialien u. eines allfälligen Gastaufenthaltes an einer europäischen Partneruni. Weiters können je Vorhaben bis zu EUR 15.000,- für nachweislich erforderliche infrastrukturelle Maßnahmen bereitgestellt werden. Im Rahmen einer Peer-Review werden die geschaffenen Kurse evaluiert u. prämiert.

2. Im Brain Gain Programme soll die akademische Diaspora aus Südosteuropa zu zumindest kurzfristigen Lehraufenthalten (nicht nur) an ihren ehemaligen Heimatunis animiert werden, wobei auch Aufenthalte österr. Universitätslehrender gefördert werden. Zur Unterstützung dieses Vorhabens wird weiterhin eine allen SOE-Universitäten offenstehende Datenbank zur Verfügung gestellt, in der Angebot u. Nachfrage zusammengeführt werden.

3. Erstmals wird die Balkan Case Challenge, deren Finale traditionell in Sarajewo stattfindet, auch an den Universitäten in Serbien u. Montenegro als Vorrunde angeboten. Es handelt sich um einen Fallstudienwettbewerb für StudentInnen der Rechts- u. Wirtschaftswissenschaften sowie IKT. Die StudentInnen üben sich in praxisnaher Lernmethodik, Teamarbeit u. Präsentationstechniken in einem multikulturellen Umfeld. Zusätzlich können sie sich im Rahmen des Wettbewerbs interessierten Unternehmen, die die Veranstaltung nach internationalen Vorbildern als Recruiting-Event nutzen, darstellen.

4. Im Bereich E-Learning geht es zuletzt darum, die relevanten Akteure zu koordinieren u. eine gemeinsame Taskforce für die Erarbeitung von Empfehlung für einheitliche Standards zusammen

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
