Overall goal



Die Maßnahmen der für 2 Jahre geplanten Abschlussphase richten sich an kleingewerbetreibende Frauen in den Gemeinden Estelí, Condega und La Trinidad. Durch Organisationsentwicklung, Unternehmensberatung und Kreditzuteilung sollen nicht nur die von Frauen geführter Kleingewerbeunternehmen gestärkt werden, sondern auch durch ihre Interessensvertretung Einfluss auf die lokale Politik gewonnen werden.


Sechs Aktionslinien werden im Projekt verfolgt:

>>> Differenzierte Beratung und Fortbildung der Zielgruppe in Unternehmensentwicklung, Produktionsverbesserung sowie Vermarktung, Erstellung und Umsetzung von Innovationsplänen für 20 Betriebe mit Entwicklungspotential.

>>> Leadership- und Gendertraining für 150 Unternehmerinnen sowie Einrichtung von Selbsthilfegruppen.

>>> Förderung eigener Organisationsformen der kleingewerbetreibenden Frauen zu einer Interessensvertretung sowie Unternehmenszusammenschlüsse zu gemeinsamer Beschaffung, Vermarktung, Produktinnovation und Transfer angewandter und angepasster Technologien.

>>> Einflussnahme auf lokale Politik, Einrichtung von Konsultationsmechanismen mit der Gemeinderegierung, Einbeziehen von Fördermaßnahmen in Gemeindepolitiken und Entwicklungspläne.

>>> Aufbau eines Spar- und Kreditfonds in Selbstverwaltung der Frauenorganisation.

>>> Förderung und Koordination von spezialisierten Dienstleistungen in Unternehmensentwicklung auf lokaler Ebene.


Bezugsrahmen des Projekts sind das Dreijahresprogramm der Österreichischen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit 2004 bis 2006, das Landesprogramm Nicaragua, das Sektorprogramm der ÖEZA zur Gewerbeförderung sowie der nationale nicaraguanische Entwicklungsplan.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
