Overall goal


Das Afro-Asiatische Institut (AAI) in Wien ist seit über 40 Jahren ein interkultureller und interreligiöser Treffpunkt, zu dessen Hauptaufgaben Bildungs- und Kulturarbeit zählt. Mit vorliegendem Projekt plant das AAI in Wien 2012 die Durchführung von 5 Frauenliteraturtagen und Kultur- und Filmabenden, Diskussionen, Workshops, Ausstellungen und des Festes der Visionen, in denen Frauen vor allem aus dem nordafrikanischen und arabischen Raum ihre Projekte und Initiativen präsentieren. Der Fokus liegt auf Literatur und Kunstprojekten, die Perspektiven eröffnen, Partizipation von Frauen ermöglichen und fördern. Zielgruppen sind: die an Entwicklungspolitik interessierte Öffentlichkeit, MultiplikatorInnen in der Bildungsarbeit, StudentInnen und Frauen in verschiedenen Communities, die sich für Kunst und Gendergerechtigkeit interessieren.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 81.881,- in der Höhe von Euro 15.000,- (18,32 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
