Overall goal


Das Klimabündnis verbindet ökologische und entwicklungspolitische Anliegen und hat ein regionales Netzwerk in ganz Österreich mit 737 Klimabündnisgemeinden, über 400 Klimabündnisbetriebe und über 160 Klimabündnisbildungseinrichtungen.

Das Projekt besteht aus zwei voneinander unabhängigen Teilen:

Der Teil "Fremder Boden" möchte aus entwicklungspolitischer Sicht die unmittelbar in Verbindung stehenden Themen "Landwirtschaft - Ernährungssicherheit - Klimaschutz" an die Bevölkerung herantragen. Dazu wird es Informationsvorträge inkl. Vorführung eines Kurzfilms plus anschließender Diskussion zu ausgewählten Projekten im Senegal geben. Hintergrund der Vorträge ist ein interkultureller Austausch von Wissen. Zur Förderung des interkulturellen Austausches wird es eine Delegationsreise geben. Den an der Partnerschaft teilnehmenden Gemeinden werden Informationstafeln angeboten. (Kooperation mit FIAN und dem Agrarbündnis).


Im Projektteil "Klimaschutz und Gerechtigkeit" werden die globalen Zusammenhänge zwischen Klimawandel, Regenwaldzerstörung, Menschenrechtsverletzungen, Hunger und Verarmung in Entwicklungsländern sowie Energieverbrauch und Konsumverhalten in Industrieländern bewusst gemacht und Alternativen aufgezeigt. Zur Umsetzung sind rund 40 Vorträge und Referate, 5 Workshops, ein Infofolder, Artikel in der Klimabündnis-Zeitschrift und in Gemeindezeitungen, sowie die Themeneinbringung bei anderen Veranstaltungen geplant.


Vorrangige Zielgruppen sind EntscheidungsträgerInnen und MultiplikatorInnen, zur Umsetzung sind Vorträge, Workshops, Infofolder, Pressearbeit sowie die Themeneinbringung bei anderen Veranstaltungen geplant.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 77.337,40 in der Höhe von EUR 51.750,00 (66,91%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
