Overall goal


Aus dem Projekt "Vorarlberg hilft Albanien", das sich mit der Sanierung des Spitals Burrel/Albanien von 1993 - 2000 (Einzugsbereich 150.000 Einwohner) befasst hat und bei einer Kapazität von 270 Betten alle Hauptabteilungen komplett instand gesetzt hat, wurde auf Verlangen des Bundeskanzleramtes zur Nachhaltigkeit der Maßnahmen der

"Verein zur Förderung des Hospitales Burrel" gegründet. Gesamtkosten ATS 19 Millionen (Euro 1.380.783,-), Sachwerte/Leistungen ATS 10 Millionen (Euro 726.728,-).


Nach 10-jährigem Bestehen des Spitals Burrel und den daraus resultierenden Abnützungserscheinungen an den medizinischen und technischen Einrichtungen und Geräten und der nicht komplett fertiggestellten Einrichtungen, sowie der Änderungswünsche aufgrund anderer hygienischer und/oder medizinischer Erfordernisse, muss nun ein Generalservice angestrebt werden.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
