Overall goal


Die Landwirtschaft bildet die Haupteinkommensquelle für geschätzte 80% der Bevölkerung der Großgemeinde Suharekë/Suva Reka. Die sozioökonomische Entwicklung mit Schwerpunkt auf Entwicklung des landwirtschaftlichen Sektors wird als eine der wesentlichsten Herausforderungen für die nächsten Jahre betrachtet.

Ziel des vorliegenden Projekts ist die Förderung von integrierter, eigenständiger und nachhaltiger ländlicher Entwicklung in der Gemeinde Suharekë/Suva Reka durch Stärkung der lokal vorhandenen Strukturen und Potentiale. Dies soll erreicht werden durch:

- Aufbau eines Municipal Development Centre (MDC) in der Gemeinde;

- Stärkung der Kapazitäten und Kompetenzen von VertreterInnen der Gemeinde und des MDC sowie anderer Akteure betreffend Regionalentwicklung;

- Bereitstellung von Mitteln zur Finanzierung lokaler Entwicklungsmaßnahmen auf Wettbewerbsbasis im Rahmen des MDC.

Direkte Zielgruppe des Projekts sind VertreterInnen der öffentlichen Verwaltung der Gemeinde Suharekë/Suva Reka, des Privatsektors sowie der Zivilgesellschaft, wie etwa Interessensverbände, Kooperative etc. Indirekte Zielgruppe des Projektes ist die ländliche Bevölkerung der Gemeinde Suharekë/Suva Reka (geschätzte 80.000 Menschen).

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
