Overall goal


Die Kampagne zielt auf die Verbesserung der Lebens- und Arbeitsbedingungen der Beschäftigten in der Computerindustrie (besonders in China und Indien) und der Armutsreduzierung im Einklang mit den Millenniumszielen ab. Die Initiative will die Praxis einer nachhaltigen - insbesondere sozialverträglichen - öffentlichen Beschaffung von Computern in Deutschland, Österreich, den Niederlanden und Tschechien forcieren.

Das umfassende Maßnahmenpaket umfasst sechs Arbeitsfelder: Forschung und Kriterien-entwicklung (Kriterienkatalog/ Instrumentarium für BeschafferInnen); Information und Lobby-ing (Erstellung eines "buyers guide", Informationsblätter, Lobbybriefe, Stakeholder-Treffen, Firmengespräche); Kampagne und Bildungsmaterial (Kurzdoku, DVD, Website, Publikatio-nen, diverse Kampagnematerialien); Workshops, Vorträge und Konferenzen (Speakers' Tours mit Süd-Gästen, AktivistInnenseminare, u.a.); Medienarbeit; Europäischer Austausch und Vernetzung.

Als Zielgruppen angesprochen werden vor allem StudentInnen und Beschäftigte in Universitäten und Gemeinden sowie die breitere Öffentlichkeit, darüber hinaus EntscheidungsträgerInnen in Politik und Beschaffungswesen sowie Unternehmen der Computerindustrie.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von EUR 46.100,- (3,33% des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert. Laufzeit: 36 Monate.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
