Enchada, das entwicklungspolitische Bildungs- und Öffentlichkeitsreferat der katholischen Jugend Österreich (KJÖ), weist langjährige Erfahrung in der Jugendarbeit auf. Klimawandel ist ein wichtiges Thema der entwicklungspolitischen Bildungsarbeit geworden. Im vorliegenden Projekt wird Methodenwissen erarbeitet, wie die Klimakrise in den entwicklungspolitischen Kontext ungesetzt werden kann. Der Grundgedanke besteht in der Annahme, dass unser Handeln Auswirkungen auf das eigene Umfeld, aber auch auf Menschen in anderen Teilen der Welt hat.


Es wird eine Methodenmappe mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Handlungsmöglichkeiten als Handwerkszeug für MultiplikatorInnen erarbeitet und eingeführt. Dazu ist das Sammeln von Hintergrundinformationen zu Klima & Entwicklung, die Entwicklung von Planspielen, Diskussionsmethoden und Aktionsideen geplant. Bei einer Wochenend-Schulung für MultiplikatorInnen zum Thema Klima wird die Methodenmappe ausprobiert und der Umgang damit erlernt. Das Veranstalten eines Studientages zu den entwicklungspolitischen Komponenten der Klimakrise ist vorgesehen. Als Impuls in der Öffentlichkeit wird während des Klimagipfels im Dezember in Kopenhagen eine öffentliche Aktion zum Thema durchgeführt werden.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumens von EURO 9.225,- in der Höhe von Euro 5.400,00 (58,54 %) gefördert.
