Short Description:

Overall goal


Im Fokus des Projekts stehen Vorführungen von Spiel- und Dokumentarfilmen zu aktuellen gesellschaftspolitischen Themen mit anschließender Diskussion. Das Wissen über globale Zusammenhänge soll erweitert, Engagement gefördert und die Errichtung von Lernräumen ermöglicht werden. Besonderer Fokus liegt auf der Berücksichtigung der Lebensrealitäten von Frauen und Mädchen. Die Filme laden zum Nachdenken ein, und wollen ein Aufweichen von tradierten Vorstellungen und geschlechtsspezifischen Rollenzuschreibungen in Gang setzen.


Expected results


15 Filmvorführungen mit je 25 bis 40 TeilnehmerInnen an diversen Standorten mit anschließender Diskussion mit RegisseurInnen/ExpertInnen und Übersetzerinnen. Rund 500 Personen nehmen an den Veranstaltungen teil.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Primär sprechen die Maßnahmen Jugendliche und Erwachsene mit Migrationshintergrund an, die in Österreich leben und wenig Zugang zu Bildungsmaßnahmen im non-formalen Bereich haben. Die interessierte österreichische Öffentlichkeit ist eine weitere Zielgruppe. Die Filmvorführungen finden vorrangig in Wien sowie in Niederösterreich (St. Pölten, Amstetten) und Oberösterreich (Wels) statt.


Die Aktivitäten werden mit einem breiten Spektrum an Kooperationspartnern umgesetzt. Dazu gehören die Musikschule SUPERAR in der Brotfabrik, Jugendbücherei Wien Philadelphiabrücke, Flash Mädchencafe, Cinema Paradiso St. Pölten, Programmkino Wels, Votivkino, VHS Floridsdorf u.a.


Activities


15 niederschwellige und barrierefreie (kostenlose) Vorführungen von Spiel- und Dokumentarfilmen mit anschließender Diskussion. Die Filme bieten ein abwechslungsreiches Programm. Sie behandeln aktuelle gesellschaftspolitische Themen (Geschlechtergerechtigkeit, Menschenrechte, nachhaltige Lebensweisen, Wirtschaft und Konsum), lassen aber die Unterhaltung dennoch nicht ganz außer Acht.


Context


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 12.700,00 mit Euro 11.200,00 (88,19%) für eine Laufzeit von 12 Monaten gefördert.
