Overall goal


Mit dem Vorhaben findet der anlässlich Linz-Kulturhauptstadt 2009 initiierte Kulturaustausch zwischen Ostafrika und Österreich eine Fortsetzung. Anlässlich des Schwerpunktes Ke.Nako Afrika 2010 soll die afrikanisch-österreichische Begegnung positive Images, Aufmerksamkeit und Neugierde für Afrika/Ostafrika wecken. Mit der Begegnung wird auch unterstrichen, dass Entwicklungszusammenarbeit so wie jeder Kulturaustausch nur Erfolg haben kann, wenn sie respektvoll auf Augenhöhe erfolgen. Das Musik-Austauschprojekt 2010 der österreichischen Musikgruppe Otto Lechner & Windhund, dem Duo Siga & Sekembuke und der legendären Sängerin Bi Kidude aus Sansibar umfasst mehrere Konzerte und musikalische Begegnungsprojekte in Österreich (Linzfest und Wien/Porgy&Bess im Mai, Festival Glatt&Verkehrt in Krems). Eine dreiwöchige Ostafrika-Tournee von Otto Lechner & Windhund mit Gegenbesuch, Workshops und Konzerten auf Sansibar, in Dar es Salaam und Nairobi stehen auf dem Programm. Mit vorliegendem Projekt wird begleitende Informations- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit realisiert. Die Maßnahmen umfassen Info-Veranstaltungen, einen Folder, Bild- und Tondokumentation sowie ein Reisetagebuch (blog). Die Ziele und Ergebnisse des Kulturaustausches werden dem Publikum in Österreich und vor Ort zugänglich gemacht.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 2.500,- gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
