Overall goal


Im Sinne Paulo Freires bietet das Freire Zentrum Veranstaltungen und damit Raum an, entwicklungspolitische Praxis zu reflektieren und weiter zu entwickeln. Die Arbeit wird wissenschaftlich begleitet und über diverse Publikationsschienen (online, TV) öffentlich zugänglich gemacht. Neben der Fortführung bewährter und erfolgreicher Aktivitäten (Bildungsprojekte unterschiedlicher Ausrichtung) beteiligt sich das PFZ 2013 am Themenschwerpunkt Migration und Entwicklung und bereitet für 2014 die 6. Entwicklungstagung (geplant in Salzburg) vor.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
