Im Netzwerk der ASA (www.asabrasil.org.br) arbeitend sucht fabula (www.fabula.tv) in Zusammenarbeit mit der Trägerorganisation der Forschungsstation "Ilha do Cajual" AmaVida - (Associação Maranhense Para a Conservação da Natureza / Nicht-Regierungs-Organisation Maranhãos zum Erhalt der Natur) (www.amavida.org.br) dort das ökosoziale Schulungsprojekt "Guará", ein Pilotprojekt für überregionale, ganzheitliche Basisarbeit im Sinne der Agenda21, umzusetzen.


Die aus beiden Organisationen zusammengesetzte Leitung der Station zur Erforschung und Bewahrung des Waldlebens, ESTAÇÃO DE PESQUISA E CONSERVAÇÃO DA VIDA SILVESTRE - "ILHA DO CAJUAL" hat nun die dringliche Aufgabe dieselbe nach mehrjähriger Nicht-Benützung, zu renovieren und im Sinne von Lernen & Forschen durch Arbeiten auf einem Permakultur-seminarbauernhof zu reaktivieren.


Schon bei der Gründung der Forschungsstation 1994 wurde, wie jetzt festgestellt, leider nicht auf die vorherrschenden Umweltbedingungen (Sandflug, hoher Salzgehalt der Luft, besonders starke Sonneneinstrahlung) wie auch nicht auf die Lebensgewohnheiten der Tiere Rücksicht genommen.

Durch die UV-Belastung wurden sämtliche PVC- Trink- & Nutzwasserleitungen spröde und teilweise beschädigt. Wasserpumpe, Stromgenerator und sämtliche unverzinkte Scharniere sind verrostet und unbrauchbar geworden. Durch nicht fachgerechte Ausführung der bestehenden Bauten dringt Sand bis in das Innere vor bzw. haben Wespen, Spinnen, Fledermäuse und anderes Getier die Station als Domizil erobert.


Das Ziel ist, mit dem Ankauf von Werkzeugen und Baumaterial und mit den Ausführenden Arbeiten in Eigenregie die Station wieder bewohnbar und für Lehrveranstaltungen bzw. Forschungsarbeiten nutzbar zu machen.
