Overall goal


Ziel der strategischen Allianz ist die Stärkung der praxisorientierten Berufsbildung in Marokko und Côte d`Ivoire, um dem Facharbeitermangel zu begegnen und um jungen Menschen neue Berufschancen zu eröffnen. Die österreichische Firma Mondi Industrial Bags GmbH setzt das Projekt gemeinsam mit der französischen NGO IECD (Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement) um, die weltweit Bildungsprojekte durchführt, und mit lokalen Bildungseinrichtungen, Interessensvertretungen und öffentlichen Institutionen um. Die österreichische Entwicklungsorganisationen ICEP, das Institut für Bildungsforschung (ibw) und die Wirtschaftskammer Österreich leisten fachliche Unterstützung.

 


Expected results


Pro Land wird ein dualer Pilotlehrgang für die Ausbildung zum Industriewartungstechniker aufgebaut. 31 lokale Partner, darunter 2 Schulen, 20 Unternehmen, 4 Regierungsstellen und 5 Unternehmensverbände nehmen am Projekt teil und richten in jedem Land eine Arbeitsgruppe ein, welche die Umsetzung der dualen Berufsbildung voranbringt. 54 Lehrer und Lehrlingsausbilder und 50 Lehrling werden in der Projektlaufzeit unterrichtet. Ausbildungskapazitäten für 125 Lehrlinge werden geschaffen.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Zielgruppe sind Personen zwischen 15 und 30 Jahren, die zum Industriewartungstechniker ausgebildet werden, sowie lokale Lehrer und Ausbildner in den Betrieben. Auf institutioneller Ebene richtet sich das Projekt an Unternehmen, an Interessengruppen der lokalen Industrie sowie an öffentliche Bildungseinrichtungen, die dabei unterstützt werden, als aktive Partner die duale Berufsbildung langfristig weiterzuführen und auf andere Berufe auszuweiten.

 


Activities


Neben der Verbesserung des Unterrichts in den Schulen wird die betriebliche Ausbildung gemeinsam mit den lokalen Partnern entwickelt und institutionell verankert. Die Projektmaßnahmen umfassen die Einrichtung von Schule und Betrieb als duale Lernorte sowie die strukturierte Zusammenarbeit von Schule und Betrieb. Neben den Arbeitsgruppen für duale Bildung wird der Aufbau eines lokalen dualen Berufsbildungsnetzwerkes gefördert, um die langfristige institutionelle Verankerung zu gewährleisten.

 


Context


In Marokko wie in Côte d`Ivoire besteht ein hoher Bedarf an gut ausgebildeten Fachkräften. Der lokale Berufsbildungssektor hat jedoch große Schwierigkeiten, mit der steigenden Nachfrage und der raschen technologischen Entwicklung Schritt zu halten. Die fehlenden bzw. unzureichenden Ausbildungsmöglichkeiten führen dazu, dass viele Jugendliche keinen Job haben.
