Overall goal


kulturen in bewegung (kibe) im VIDC ist Servicestelle und Kompetenzzentrum für Kunst und Kultur aus Afrika, Asien und Lateinamerika in Österreich. Zentrales Anliegen ist es, künstlerische Ausdrucksformen und kulturelle Initiativen aus aller Welt verstärkt in den heimischen Kultur- und Bildungsbetrieb zu integrieren, globale Zusammenhänge auf kreative/emotionale Weise zu vermitteln, Klischees aufzubrechen und Perspektivenwechsel anzuregen. Bei den Projekten stehen professionelle Kunst- und Kulturereignisse, begleitende entwicklungspolitische Informationsarbeit und der persönliche Austausch im Mittelpunkt. Das vorliegende Programm stellt eine Fortführung und Weiterentwicklung der Arbeit von VIDC-kibe dar. 2014-2015 werden 11 spezifische kulturelle Projekte entwickelt und vermittelt. Zu den weiteren Maßnahmen zählen die kontinuierliche Servicetätigkeit (Beratung, Vermittlung), Austauschprojekte mit Kunst- und Kulturschaffenden aus dem Süden (Kongo, Bhutan, Uganda), begleitende Informations- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, die Qualifizierung und Kompetenzerweiterung von migrantischen KünstlerInnen sowie Netzwerkarbeit mit Fokus auf Web 2.0/Social Media. Inhaltlich werden u.a. Schwerpunkte zu Post 2015-Agenda (Arts for Change), Bhutan (anlässlich eines Jubiläums der österr.-bhutanischen Beziehungen), Privatsektor Creative Industries - Innovationen im Designbereich aus dem Süden (modulare Messe-Formate in Koop. mit WKÖ, Wirtschaftsservice), Umwelt/ Wasser global (wasser weg? - Kulturwanderungen), soziale Inklusion/Geschlechtergerechtigkeit (Tournee einer Clowninnen-Truppe aus Brasilien anlässlich der Fußball-WM), Weltmusik (LaLaLa-Konzertreihe für Kinder ab 3) gesetzt. Zu den Dialoggruppen zählen KünstlerInnen, Kulturveranstalter, Bildungs- und freizeitpädagogische Einrichtungen, MigrantInnen, NRO, kommunale Initiativen und Gemeinden, die Medien sowie eine kulturinteressierte Öffentlichkeit.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries.
