Overall goal


Der United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) die weltgrößte Coporate Citizenship Initiative, sie existiert seit dem Jahr 2000. Mittlerweile zählt der weltumspannende Pakt rund 12.000 Teilnehmer, darunter Unternehmen, NGOs und Regierungsinstitutionen sowie über 100 nationale Netzwerke. respACT unterstützt als österreichischer Focal Point des Global Compact die Teilnehmer und interessierte weitere Unternehmen dabei, verantwortungsvolles Handeln in der Praxis zu gestalten. Ziel ist es, den Beitrag der österreichischen Unternehmen zu einer sozialen und ökologischen Globalisierung zu stärken. Die entsprechenden Maßnahmen sind in zwei Teile unterteilt:

1. Realisierung der Aktivitäten des österreichischen Global Compact-Netzwerkes 2015

2. Förderung des Themas „globale CSR und Entwicklungszusammenarbeit“ bei österreichischen Unternehmen.

Im Jahr 2015 soll die Bekanntheit des Global Compact und die Anwendung seiner Prinzipien in Österreich um 10 % gesteigert werden (im Vergleich zur Unternehmensbefragung 2014). Zu diesem Zweck werden verschiedene Maßnahmen durchgeführt, von intensiven Arbeitsgruppen über den Austausch auf Top-Management Ebene bis hin zur Öffentlichkeitsarbeit. Mit den Maßnahmen werden bis zu 3000 relevante Mitarbeiter aus österreichischen Unternehmen und Institutionen erreicht, 50 Mitglieder des Top-Managements österreichischer Unternehmen werden aktiv in die Umsetzung involviert.

    • BMLFUW - Federal Ministry for Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water
    • EU - Funds of the European Commission
    • Others - various other donors are listed in ADA’s annual business report.
  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
