Overall goal


Das Projekt "Psychosocial Help for Families and Children in Iraq" (2223-00/2003), das Österreich gemeinsam mit Slowenien durchführt, hat nicht nur auf Grund der besonderen schwierigen Situation im Irak, sondern auch auf Grund der erwünschten Zusammenarbeit mit dem slowenischen Aussenministerium einen hohen Betreuungsaufwand.


Beim letzten österreichisch-slowenischen Steering Committee am 13.12.2004 wurde vereinbart, dass das laufende Projekt der Foundation TOGETHER für einJahr weitergeführt werden soll. Der Kontakt zum irakischen Projektpartner kann jedoch nur anlässlich der Ausbildungsseminare, die von TOGETHER in Amann durchgeführt werden, gehalten werden.


Frau Mag. Viola Rehab, eine einschlägige Expertin mit den erforderlichen Arabischkenntnissen, wird ab 1. Februar 2005 das Projektmonitoring und Ausbildungseinheiten für TOGETHER und den irakischen Projektpartner übernehmen. Zusätzlich wird sie TOGETHER bei der Erarbeitung eines Handbuchs für "Traumaarbeit mit Grossgruppen" unterstützen.

  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
