Overall goal


Das Projekt basiert auf einer Intervention der OEZA in den Jahren 2001 bis 2002 (Wasserversorgung Opovo I). Nunmehr besteht seit Finalisierung der Basiswasserversorgung der Bedarf die umliegenden, peripheren Dörfer von Opovo in Nordserbien ebenfalls mit qualitätsvollem Trinkwasser zu versorgen. Das Projekt wurde im Laufe der Jahre 2005 und 2006 von KOBÜ Belgrad und der KPC detailliert, vor allem in Bezug auf eine nachhaltige Finanzierungsstruktur, analysiert und vorbereitet. Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf Energieeffizienz durch die Minimierung von technischen Reibungsverlusten in der Anlage der zweiten Wasserversorgungstraße gelegt.

Das Projekt finalisiert eine bereits auf österreichischem Engagement und Know How basierende Maßnahme, die zu einer wesentlichen Verbesserung der Wasserversorgung in der Gemeinde Opovo führen wird. Diese wiederum ist in der Autonomen Provinz der Vojvodina gelegen, welche geografisch neben Südserbien den Fokus der ADA - Interventionen in Serbien bildet. Durch die Verbesserung der Basisinfrastruktur der Region wird auch die wirtschaftliche Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Vojvodina gestärkt.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
