Overall goal


Das Evangelische Hilfswerk in Österreich ist ein Verein mit Sitz Wien mit dem Ziel Menschen und deren Organisationen auf der ganzen Welt in ihrem Bestreben, selbst bestimmt und in Würde zu leben, zu unterstützen, ihre Rechte zu wahren und zu fördern.


Ziel dieses Projektes ist es einen Beitrag zur Friedens- und Versöhnungsarbeit im Nahen Osten zu leisten. Hierbei wird die Kontaktmöglichkeit von "verfeindeten" Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen auf neutralem Boden für sinnvoll erachtet.


Die Aktivitäten dieses Projektes umfassen die Organisation und Durchführung eines internationalen Jugendcamps. Dabei werden erlebnispädagogische Angebote in Form von Workshops offeriert. Diese inkludieren die Einbeziehung von Video, Theater, Kunst, Musik und Sport. Eine gemeinsame Organisation und Durchführung eines Festes sowie begleitende Öffentlichkeitsarbeit lassen ein gut ausgearbeitetes Konzept erkennen, welches sämtliche erkenntnispädagogisch Erkenntnisse berücksichtigt.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 46.000,00 in der Höhe von EUR 12.000,00 (26,09 %) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
