Overall goal


Das Projekt wird getragen von den bislang 15 NRO-Mitgliedern der "Allianz für Klimagerechtigkeit", unter der Koordination von ÖKOBÜRO und spezifischer Unterstützung von CARE, Global 2000 und dem Österreichischen Roten Kreuz (ÖRK).

Projektziel ist die Stärkung des Bewusstseins für die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf Menschen in Entwicklungsländern im Vorfeld der UN-Klimakonferenz in Kopenhagen (Conference of Parties, Dez 2009). Es wird der Austausch und Dialog zwischen EntscheidungsträgerInnen und NRO-"Allianz für Klimagerechtigkeit" ausgebaut, auch im Sinne einer Partizipation der Zivilgesellschaft bei der anstehenden UN-Konferenz. Konkrete Handlungsoptionen für die Politik auf österreichischer Ebene sollen aufgezeigt, der Diskurs über Medienarbeit in die interessierte Öffentlichkeit getragen werden. Zielgruppen sind politische EntscheidungsträgerInnen, österreichische NRO, ExpertInnen sowie die Medien und eine politisch interessierte Öffentlichkeit.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 10.000,- ( 72,31 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
