Overall goal


Ziel des Kooperationsprojektes zwischen Ashoka und ADA ist es, zwei ausgewählte SozialunternehmerInnen in der Wachstumsphase im Bereich Entwicklungszusammenarbeit zu unterstützen und zu fördern.


Expected results


Zwei SozialunternehmerInnen mit entwicklungspolitisch-relevanten Unternehmungen im öffentlichen, privaten oder Non-Profit- Sektor erhalten umfangreiches Know-How zur Professionalisierung, Skalierung und Verbreitung der sozialen Wirkung ihres unternehmerischen Handelns. Die beiden SozialunternehmerInnen identifizieren und entwickeln neue Partnerschaften zur Weiterentwicklung Ihrer Sozialunternehmen mithilfe des globalen Netzwerks von Ashoka. Die Rolle von SozialunternehmerInnen zur Lösung entwicklungspolitischer Probleme wird innerhalb der Öffentlichkeit gestärkt.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Insgesamt 2 SozialuntermerInnen aus der Region Zentraleuropa (Polen, Tschechien, Slovakei, Ungarn und Österreich und/ oder der Region Westbalkan (Serbien, Bosnien, Montenegro, Albanien und Kosovo) werden durch die Übernahme der Lehrgangskosten für das Ashoka Leadership Program von der ADA gefördert. Es wird angestrebt, ein Stipendium für jeweils eine der beiden Regionen zu vergeben.


Activities


Die beiden SozialunternehmerInnen nehmen am Ashoka Leadership Program teil und erlangen umfangreiche Kompetenzen zur Professionalisierung und Skalierung ihrer sozialunternehmerischen Initiativen und assoziierten sozialen Wirkungen. Sie werden aktiv bei der Nutzung des globalen Netzwerks von Ashoka zur Entwicklung von neuen Partnerschaften und Internationalisierung begleitet. Nach Abschluss des Programms werden sie Teil eines Netzwerks aus sozialunternehmerischen Akteuren aus Staat, Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft.


Context


Ashoka ist ein globaler Berufsverband weltweit führender „Social Entrepreneure“. Das Ashoka Leadership Programm ist ein einzigartiges Programm, um Führungskräfte aus der Wirtschaft, öffentlichen Institutionen und NGO´s, in das Thema „Social Entrepreneurship“ eintauchen zu lassen, damit sie diese Thematik auch in ihrer eigenen Organisation etablieren. Zudem ist es ein strukturiertes Unterstützungsprogramm für ausgewählte SozialunternehmerInnen, die sich in das Programm mit ihren Herausforderungen und Erfahrungen einklinken. Gemeinsam werden so konkrete Projekte durchgeführt – mit den Ideengebern für Lösungsansätze globaler Herausforderungen auf der einen Seite und Führungskräfte aus der Wirtschaft mit den unternehmerischen Fähigkeiten zur Umsetzung dieser Ideen auf der anderen Seite.

    • Others - various other donors are listed in ADA’s annual business report.
  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
