Die Wirtschaftspartnerschaft wird in vier Ländern (El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras und Nicaragua) implementiert. Diese Länder stehen untereinander in einem engen wirtschaftlichen und sozioökonomischen Zusammenhang. Ein zentrales Problem in allen vier Ländern ist die mangelnde Qualifizierung von Jugendlichen sowie von Betreibern von MKMB in betriebswirtschaftlichen Methoden und Inhalten, was ein Entwicklungshemmnis darstellt.

Die Educatio Handelsges.m.b.H. ist ein seit 1995 bestehendes Unternehmen zur Entwicklung von Bildungsprogrammen mit Sitz in Wien. Das Projekt wird u.a. mit den Industriellenvereinigungen der vier Länder durchgeführt.

Die Wirtschaftspartnerschaft umfasst drei Komponenten. Die erste zielt auf die Ausbildung von MultiplikatorInnen in Guatemala, El Salvador und Honduras unter Einsatz der TrainerInnen aus Nicaragua ab. Das zweite Maßnahmenpaket umfasst die Implementierung des Modells der Übungsfirma bei den Industriellenvereinigungen in den jeweiligen Ländern und danach bei weiteren lokalen Bildungspartnern. Die dritte Komponente besteht aus der Gründung einer Servicestelle für Übungsfirmen in Zentralamerika, die zugleich als Geschäftsstelle der Educatio fungiert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
