Overall goal


Das EU-Projekt zielt auf eine Verbreitung von Themen des Globalen Lernens und die institutionelle Verankerung Globalen Lernens in der Berufsschulausbildung ab. Ausgewählte innovative Ansätze zum Globalen Lernen werden durch Adaptierung für andere Länder und Ausweitung auf weitere Themenfelder bzw. Berufe in die Breite übertragen..


BAOBAB bringt seine langjährige Erfahrung und Expertise im Bereich des Globalen Lernens ein. Bezüglich der Qualität der ausgewählten Ansätze und Materialien, die im Projekt als Good Practice Beispiele herangezogen werden, wird auf die Expertise der Partnerorganisation EPIZ (Entwicklungspolitisches Bildungs- und Informationszentrum in Berlin) vertraut.


BAOBAB arbeitet speziell an Modulen für die Berufsfelder Gastronomie und kaufmännische Berufe. Konzepte für die institutionelle Verankerung in der Beruflichen Bildung werden gemeinsam mit den relevanten Stakeholdern und EntscheidungsträgerInnen entwickelt. Partizipative und innovative Unterrichtsmethoden werden angewandt sowie E-Learning-Tools genutzt.


Die Aktivitäten in Österreich umfassen: Situationsanalyse, Geografischer Transfer, sektoraler Transfer, MultiplikatorInnenschulung, Materialientestläufe, Verbreitung und Nutzung, Arbeit mit EntscheidungsträgerInnen zur Verankerung des Globalen Lernens in den ausgewählten Berufsfeldern sowie begleitende Öffentlichkeitsarbeit.


Das Projekt wird von 9 Partnern aus 5 europäischen Ländern (Ö, D, PL, B, H) durchgeführt.


Zielgruppen sind MultiplikatorInnen bzw. Verantwortliche für Berufsbildung (EntscheidungsträgerInnen) sowie Jugendliche in der Berufsausbildung.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 388.358,00 in der Höhe von EUR 10.000,- (2,57%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
