Overall goal


Mit dem vorliegenden Projekt soll in der Gemeinde Cantemir (Süd-West Moldau) die Abwasserentsorgung in zwei Phasen nachhaltig abgesichert werden. Die erste Phase beinhaltet die Planung und Vorbereitung der Ausschreibung des Bauvorhabens, die zweite (vorerst noch nicht ausfinanzierte) Phase umfasst die Umsetzung der Infrastrukturmaßnahmen.

Kern des Projekts sind die Wiederinstandsetzung des existierenden Kanalisationssystems und der Ausbau des Netzwerks sowie Anschluss weiterer Gemeindeteile; der Bau einer Abwasserkläranlage mit ausreichender Kapazität zum Anschluss für Nachbarorte; Kapazitätsentwicklung für die MitarbeiterInnen des Gemeindeunternehmens als Betreiber der Infrastruktur in den Bereichen Management, Betrieb und Finanzierung. Begünstigte des Projekts sind die ca. 5.000 EinwohnerInnen der Gemeinde.


Bis 2010 unterstützte die OEZA Maßnahmen in derselben Gemeinde die Wasserversorgung, eine logische Folge ist im Nachgang das Abwasser. Ergebnis des Vorgängerprojekts ist die durchgängige Versorgung der lokalen Bevölkerung mit sauberem Trinkwasser. Bis dahin wurden die Einwohner der Stadt nur wenige Stunden täglich mit Wasser schlechter Qualität versorgt. Für die gemeinsam mit Partnern vor Ort durchgeführte Errichtung der Trinkwasseraufbereitungsanlage und Instandsetzung des Leitungsnetzes wurden über 1,3 Millionen Euro zur Verfügung gestellt. Darüber hinaus wurde der Stadtgemeinde und den Betreibern das erforderliche Know-how für den kosteneffizienten und wirtschaftlichen Betrieb der Trinkwasseraufbereitung und -versorgung vermittelt.
