Overall goal


Die Frauensolidarität betreibt feministisch-entwicklungspolitische Informations-, Bildungs- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit in Österreich basierend auf dem Dialog mit Frauenbewegungen im globalen Süden.

Die gleichnamige vierteljährliche Zeitschrift reflektiert globale Machtverhältnisse aus feministischer Sicht. Themenschwerpunkte 2015 sind Peking +20 und das European Year of Development (EYD 2015), Familienkonstruktionen, Medien in Frauenhand, Humor.


Die Frauensolidarität gestaltet in Kooperation mit ORANGE 94.0 die wöchentlichen Radiosendungen Globale Dialoge – Women on Air (Schwerpunkte 2015: EYD 2015, Peking +20, post2015-Agenda). Sie bringt ihre Expertise in das Radioprojekt ein.


Die in der ‚C3 Bibliothek für Entwicklungspolitik‘ angesiedelte Bibliothek und Dokumentationsstelle Frauen und ‚Dritte Welt‘ ist eine zentrale Informationsvermittlungsstelle zu Gender und Entwicklung.

Die Frauensolidarität betreut gemeinsam mit BAOBAB und ÖFSE jährlich an etwa 200 Öffnungstagen ca. 10.000 BesucherInnen, verleiht ca. 18.000 Medien, führt Bibliotheksführungen und Schulungen durch, organisiert feministisch-entwicklungspolitische Veranstaltungen (Vorträge, Diskussionen, Lesungen etc.). Ein Schwerpunkt der Bibliotheksarbeit ist die Erweiterung der Nutzung, um neue Zielgruppen anzusprechen.


Resultate:

- Publikation und Vertrieb von 4 Ausgaben der Zeitschrift (Auflage 1.500 Stück).

- 20 ausgestrahlte Radiosendungen, 20.000 Zugriffe auf Weblog und Audioarchiv, Herstellung einer Audio-CD mit Begleitmaterial, 200 CD-Downloads.

- Bibliotheksbetrieb: 200 Öffnungstage, 10.000 BesucherInnen, Verleih von 18.000 Medien (davon 3.500 aus dem Bestand der Frauensolidarität), 50 Bibliotheksführungen, 300 Anfragebeantwortungen.

- 3 Veranstaltungen der Reihe ‚Bildung im C3ntrum‘ mit den C3-Partnern (je ca. 150 TeilnehmerInnen) sowie mehrere kleinere Veranstaltungen.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 203.200 mit Euro 145.000 (71,36%) gefördert.
