Overall goal


Als Teil eines von der Europäischen Kommission geförderten Projektes wird auch in Österreich ein "Global Curriculum Modell" entwickelt, getestet und evaluiert. Unter einem "Global Curriculum Modell" wird ein Unterrichtsmodell verstanden, das Anknüpfungspunkte zu Globalem Lernen in den jeweiligen Fachlehrplänen definiert, dafür auch didaktisches Material anbietet und Fächer verbindende Zugänge zu Globalem Lernen erschließt.

Die Methodologie des Globalen Lernens und eine partizipative Lernkultur in den Projektschulen werden vermittelt. Die ProjektpartnerInnen arbeiten mit insgesamt 40 Projektschulen zusammen (10 in Österreich, 10 in Tschechien, 10 in UK, 5 in Benin, 5 in Brasilien). Der Prozess der Zusammenarbeit sieht folgende Schritte vor: (1) Auswahl der Schulen und Festlegung eines Schulteams, (2) Festlegung eines gemeinsamen Jahresplanes, (3) Erstellen der Materialien und Unterstützung der LehrerInnen durch Materialien und Bildungsangebote, (4) Begleitende Reflexion und Evaluierung.

Folgende Aktivitäten in Österreich und in den Projektpartnerländern sind geplant: (1) Entwicklung eines "Global Curriculum Modells", (2) Unterstützende Materialien und Trainingsprogramme, (3) Studienbesuche in den Projektpartnerländern UK und Benin. Das Projekt wird zum überwiegenden Teil spiegelgleich in allen Projektpartnerländern durchgeführt. Es werden an Schultypen sowohl Grundschule als auch Sekundarstufe I angesprochen.


Die ADA fördert ausschließlich Aktivitäten in Österreich.


Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von EUR 957.994,00 in der Höhe von EUR 57.600,00 (6,01%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
