Overall goal


Ausgangssituation: Sambia gehört zu den am schlimmsten betroffenen Ländern der HIV/AIDS Epidemie, die in Südafrika und in anderen Teilen der Welt wütet. In der Altersklasse der zwischen 15 und 49 Jährigen beträgt die Quote der Infizierten 19.7 %; in den städtischen Gebieten liegt die Rate der HIV/AIDS Infizierten bei


Zielsetzung und Beschreibung der Zielgruppe:

Oberziel:

Armutsreduzierung durch die Verbesserung der Lebensqualität der Gemeinden in den Projektgebieten mit speziellen Fokus auf Kinder und Jugendliche, die von Missbrauch und einer HIV/AIDS Infektion gefährdet sind.

Die Verbesserung in der Lebensqualität wird durch die Errichtung von Jugendvereinen erreicht. Durch Peer-Gruppen, die in Schulen und in den Gemeinden operieren, sollen die bedürftigen Kinder bei der Entwicklung ihrer Fähigkeiten unterstützt werden. Des weiteren sollen sie Schul- und Berufsausbildung erhalten; die notwendige Schulausrüstung wird ihnen zur Verfügung gestellt. Zusätzlich erhalten sie auch psychosoziale Unterstützung. Durch diese Maßnahmen werden die Straßenkinder und Waisen auch besser in die in die Gesellschaft integriert.


Spezifische Ziele:

Kinder und Jugendliche in den Projektgebieten nützen ihre verbesserte Aufklärung um das Risiko von sexuellem Missbrauch und einer HIV/AIDS Infektion zu minimieren.

Die Reduktion von riskantem Verhalten soll durch die Bereitstellung passender Informationen, sexuelle Aufklärung, offene Gespräche über die Pubertät und damit einhergehende körperliche Veränderungen und die Gefahr einer Ansteckung mit STDs/HIV/AIDS, etc. erreicht werden. Dadurch sollen Kinder und Jugendliche Fähigkeiten entwickeln um sexuellen Missbrauch und unerwünschte Schwangerschaft zu vermeiden.
