Short Description:

Overall goal


Das Projekt verfolgt das Ziel, zivilgesellschaftliche Netzwerke aus den Ländern der Östlichen Partnerschaft (EaP) im politischen Dialog über Klimawandelanpassung mit lokalen Regierungen, EU-Institutionen und internationalen Organisationen zu stärken (Partnerländer: Armenien, Aserbaidschan, Belarus, Georgien, Moldau, Ukraine). In Kooperation mit dem Rotkreuz-Klimazentrum in Den Haag, dem WWF, dem Umweltbundesamt, sowie mit vier nationalen Rotkreuz- Gesellschaften und zwei lokalen NGOs sollen insgesamt 120 zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen untereinander vernetzt werden, um gemeinsame Strategien und Positionen zur Klimawandelanpassung und Katastrophenvorsorge zu finden. Die Netzwerke sollen NGOs aus dem humanitären, Gesundheits- und Sozialbereich, sowie aus Wirtschaft und Umweltschutz vereinen, um ein möglichst breites gesellschaftliches und thematisches Spektrum abzudecken.

Erwartete Resultate:

1) Gründung von neuen bzw. Stärkung von bestehenden zivilgesellschaftlichen Netzwerken zur Klimawandelanpassung in den sechs Partnerländern (Vernetzungstreffen, Workshops, Trainings; Abstimmung mit bestehenden Netzwerken und Strukturen; Partnerschaften; Baseline-Studie).

2) Durchführung von nationalen Klimarisiko-Analysen in den 6 Partnerländern (inkl. Kommunikation von Lösungsvorschlägen zu den größten nationalen Herausforderungen an EntscheidungsträgerInnen im Land).

3) Ausarbeitung von Advocacy-Strategien und Stärkung der Kommunikation (Dialog mit Regierungen; Schulung durch Experten in Argumentation, Verhandlungstechniken und Kommunikation).

4) Förderung von Bewusstseinsbildung und Partizipation von Jugendlichen und BürgerInnen (Beteiligungs-Bildungsangebote für Jugendliche und BürgerInnen in Zusammenarbeit mit Schulen, Gemeinden und Jugendorganisationen).

5) Gründung des Klimaforum OST (Überregionale Kommunikationsplattform für den Austausch zwischen Akteuren aus staatlichen und nicht-staatlichen Bereichen zum Thema Klimawandelanpassung und Katastrophenvorsorge).

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
