Overall goal


Ziel des Projekts 'Mobile Pflege in Gori, Georgien' ist der Aufbau eines mobilen Pflegedienstes für ältere, alleinstehende Menschen in der Stadt Gori und den umliegenden Dörfern in Kooperation mit der Stadtverwaltung. Insgesamt werden rund 70 Senioren durch einen häuslichen Pflegedienst unterstützt, wobei die Leistungen medizinische Basisversorgung, Haushaltshilfe und psychosoziale Beratung umfassen. Zusätzlich werden im Rahmen des Projekts arbeitslose Personen mit medizinischen Vorkenntnissen, insbesondere aus der besonders benachteiligten Bevölkerungsgruppe der intern Vertriebenen (‚internally displaced persons‘ / IDPs), im Bereich der Heimhilfe weitergebildet und ein Teil im mobilen Pflegedienst angestellt.

Die erwarteten Resultate umfassen:

1. Stärkung der Kapazitäten von Arbeitslosen mit medizinischen Vorkenntnissen, insbesondere von intern Vertriebenen (IDPs), im Bereich der mobilen Pflege.

2. Einrichtung und Betrieb eines mobilen Pflegedienste für ältere, alleinstehende Menschen.

3. Erhöhtes Bewusstsein und Aufklärung zu Bedürfnissen und Rechten von älteren Menschen in der Öffentlichkeit.

Basierend auf Erfahrungen aus früheren Projekten der lokalen Partnerorganisation (Samaritan Association of Georgia) wird eine Vereinbarung mit der Stadtgemeinde Gori hinsichtlich öffentlicher finanzieller Unterstützung des mobilen Pflegedienstes angestrebt, um die Fortführung der Leistungen nach Projektende sicherzustellen und nachhaltig zu verankern.
