Short Description:

Overall goal


Ziel des Projektes ist es, durch Filme aus den Herkunftsländern und aus Österreich und der persönlichen Begegnung die Kenntnisse verschiedener Gesellschaften zu verbessern und Barrieren und Vorurteile abzubauen. Das Projekt schafft einen niederschwelligen, kostengünstigen und barrierefreien Zugang für ÖsterreicherInnen und für in Österreich lebende Flüchtlinge/AsylwerberInnen aller Altersgruppen.


Expected results


Es finden 10 Filmvorführungen an diversen Standorten mit anschließenden Diskussionsrunden mit RegisseurInnen bzw. ExpertInnen, sowie ÜbersetzerInnen statt. Insgesamt werden rund 350 TeilnehmerInnen erwartet.


Target group / Beneficiaries


Zielgruppen sind ÖsterreicherInnen aller Alters- und Berufsgruppen und in Österreich lebende Flüchtlinge/AsylwerberInnen. Der gemeinsame Aspekt der Begegnung und des Austausches steht dabei im Vordergrund. Fokus der Aktivitäten ist Wien, dazu sind Veranstaltungen in Niederösterreich, Steiermark und Oberösterreich geplant.


Activities


Geplant sind 10 Vorführungen von Filmen aus Syrien, Libanon, Afghanistan und Österreich. Anschließende Gespräche, die durch ExpertInnen oder RegisseurIn und ÜbersetzerIn begleitet werden, bieten Raum zur Reflexion von globalen Zusammenhängen, Geschlechterrollen in verschiedenen Kulturen, sowie zur Auseinandersetzung mit Unterschieden, aber auch Gemeinsamkeiten. In der Filmauswahl finden sich Filme, die frauen- und gesellschaftspolitische Themen und das Zusammenleben verschiedener Kulturen respektvoll behandeln.

Das Projekt wird bei einem Gesamtprojektvolumen von Euro 15.900,00 mit Euro 11.000,00 (69,00%) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
