Overall goal


Der "Verein für Antirassistische und Friedenspolitische Initiative" wurde im Oktober 2003 gegründet, mit dem Ziel einerseits die Verbindung zu palästinensischen Organisationen im Exil sowie zu Organisationen der palästinensischen Zivilgesellschaft in Palästina herzustellen, andererseits Informationen über die palästinensische Gesellschaft und Hintergründe des Konfliktes Israel/Palästina in der österreichischen Öffentlichkeit und im universitären Bereich zu informieren. Der Verein hat bereits einige öffentlichkeitswirksame Veranstaltungen zu diesem Thema initiiert.


Ziel dieses Projektes ist die palästinensische Gesellschaft durch ein umfassendes Maßnahmenpaket öffentlichkeitswirksam in Österreich darzustellen. Der Verein für "Antirassistische und Friedenspolitische Initiative" hat dafür ein breit angelegtes Projektprogramm entwickelt, welches zehn Einzelprojekte umschließt. Dazu zählen: eine Podiumsdiskussion, eine Bilderausstellung, Verfassen von Artikeln, Reportagen und Interviews, die Teilnahme an der Konferenz der Palästinenser in Europa in Malmö (Schweden), zwei kulturelle Veranstaltungen in Form von Städtevorstellungen, eine Filmreihe: Filme aus Palästina mit Schwerpunkt Dokumentarfilme. Weiters eine Veranstaltung "Entwicklung hinter Mauern", eine Begegnungsreise Gaza und Westbank, Präsentationen der Ergebnisse durch Veranstaltungen, Teilnahme an Veranstaltungen sowie eine universitäre Aufbereitung sowie eine Abschlussinformation des Projektes mit ausführlicher Diskussion.


Es wird um eine Förderung aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 15.000,00 (71,63 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens) angesucht.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
