Overall goal


Attac Österreich wurde 2000 gegründet und ist Teil einer weltweiten Bewegung, die sich für eine demokratische und sozial gerechte Gestaltung der Wirtschaft einsetzt. Von 16.-20. Juli 2014 veranstaltet Attac Österreich in Tirol (Telfs) die 13. Sommerakademie zum Thema 'unFAIRhandelbar! Menschenrechte, Umwelt und Demokratie im Fadenkreuz der Konzerne' mit rund 350 TeilnehmerInnen. An fünf Tagen finden Podiums- und Plenarveranstaltungen mit renommierten ExpertInnen, 10 Seminare und rund 60 Workshops statt. Ein sportliches und kulturelles Rahmenprogramm ergänzt den Wissensaufbau/-austausch, die Diskussion, die Reflexion und Vernetzung.

Zentraler thematischer Schwerpunkt ist die Rolle von Handelsabkommen im Kontext der Krise, wie z.B. Internationale Freihandels- und Investitionsabkommen (aktuelles Beispiel EU-USA, TTIP) und ihre (Aus-) Wirkungen auf soziale Sicherheit, Arbeitsrechte, Umweltschutz oder nachhaltige Landwirtschaft. Zielgruppe sind Akteure und MultiplikatorInnen aus Entwicklungspolitik, Umweltpolitik, Wissenschaft/Forschung und Zivilgesellschaft.

Ergebnisse:

1. TeilnehmerInnen erhalten Zugang zu aktuellem Wissen über die komplexen Zusammenhänge von Handelsabkommen

2. TeilnehmerInnen können ganzheitliche und strukturelle Zusammenhänge erkennen und finden Möglichkeiten zu Vernetzung und Austausch mit anderen sozialen Bewegungen

3. TeilnehmerInnen erarbeiten und reflektieren politische individuelle und kollektive Handlungsmöglichkeiten

4. Dokumentation und Berichterstattung im Web, auf sozialen Plattformen und nationale, regionale und lokale Medienarbeit ermöglichen die Teilhabe einer interessierten Öffentlichkeit


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von Euro 9.000,- (25,71% des Gesamtprojektvolumens - Zweckwidmung) gefördert.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
