Overall goal


Oberziel ist der Beitrag zur Verbesserung der Lebensqualität der marginalisierten indigenen Bevölkerung von San Cristóbal des Las Casas in Chiapas, Mexiko. Jugendliche werden dabei unterstützt, sich in den Arbeitsmarkt durch eine Anstellung oder eine selbstständige Tätigkeit zu integrieren. TeilnehmerInnen werden in einem Handwerk oder einem qualifizierten Dienstleistungsberuf ausgebildet und durch den Erwerb von zusätzlichen Kompetenzen auf die Integration in den Arbeitsmarkt vorbereitet. Vor Durchführung der jeweiligen fachspezifischen Ausbildung wird mittels Marktstudien der Bedarf an ausgebildeten Fachkräften in den Bereichen Bau, Tourismus und Gastgewerbe in San Cristóbal de Las Casas erhoben.

Das Ausbildungsprojekt basiert auf einem integralen Ansatz, wobei die fachspezifische Ausbildung (z.B. als TischlerIn) mit der persönlichen Ausbildung (z.B. Förderung der Persönlichkeitsentwicklung und Vorbereitung auf den Arbeitsmarkt) kombiniert wird. Während der Laufzeit des Projekts werden vier Fachausbildungen angeboten, die jeweils ein Jahr dauern und teilweise parallel durchgeführt werden. Dabei wird mit öffentlichen Bildungseinrichtungen (INEA / Instituto Nacional para la Educación para Adultos und CECATI / Centro de Capacitación para el Trabajo Industrial) zusammengearbeitet. Insgesamt werden 130 Jugendliche im Alter von 15-25 Jahren an den Ausbildungskursen teilnehmen.

  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
