Overall goal


Das Projekt leistet einen Beitrag zum Schutz von Kindern vor sexueller Ausbeutung im Tourismus. Es erhöht das Bewusstsein, die Befugnisse und die Motivation zur Ergreifung von Maßnahmen durch im Tourismus Beschäftigte sowie bei den Reisenden selbst unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Länder Indien, Dominikanische Republik, Philippinen, Südafrika, Costa Rica und Kenia.

Die Hauptaktivitäten sind Bildung und Bewusstseinsbildung für touristische Fachkräfte (u.a. Entwicklung eines e-learning Kurses), Lobbying und Sensibiliserung bei EntscheidungsträgerInnen in Parlament und in der Reisewirtschaft, internationale Seminare (Train the Trainer), Tagungen sowie die Information der allgemeinen Öffentlichkeit und Medienarbeit.

Das vorliegende Projekt ist in ein internationales Netzwerk eingebunden: Der ADA-Förderpartner respect/ECPAT (Projektpartner) ist eine Kooperation mit ECPAT Deutschland (Lead Agency), TARTU (Estland), ECPAT Niederlande und Italien eingegangen. Partnerschaften mit Organisation in den oben genannten Süd-Ländern sind vorgesehen.


Das Projekt wird aus OEZA-Mitteln in der Höhe von ¿ 21.800,- (2,80 % des Gesamtprojektvolumens von ¿ 779.592,37,-) gefördert. Laufzeit: 36 Monate.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
