Auf Einladung der parteiunabhängigen Jugendbewegung KelKel kam im Frühjahr 2005 ein achttägiger Workshop zustande, dessen Ziel es war einer Gruppe von im Demokratisierungsprozess engagierten Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen Grundlagen und Methoden des Theaters der Unterdrückten zu vermitteln.


Auf Grund der ersten durchaus viel versprechenden Erfahrungen entstand das Anliegen, insbesondere in den Regionen Menschen in diesen Formen der Theaterarbeit so auszubilden, dass sie sowohl mit Gruppen arbeiten, als auch als MultiplikatorInnen fungieren können. Ziel dieser Theaterarbeit ist, die Menschen im Bewusstsein ihrer BürgerInnenrechte sowie der Menschenrechte zu stärken und zentrale Problem wie Korruption (auf verschiedenen Ebenen), Klientelismus, Gewalt (insbesondere Gewalt gegen Frauen), Stimmenkauf in Diskussion zu bringen. Mit Hilfe des Theaters sollen für Situationen, die die Menschen selbst erlebt haben, Lösungsansätze entwickelt werden. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich die BürgerInnen direkt in die Erarbeitung von Lösungen und in den Prozess der Umsetzung zu involvieren.

In zwei zehntägigen Workshops werden die Methoden durch zwei österreichische TheaterpädagogInnen praktisch vermittelt, wobei insbesondere auf die Rolle der Spielleitung eingegangen wird.


Außerdem sollen regionale Medien genutzt werden, um einen möglichst großen Teil der Zivilgesellschaft zu erreichen. Mittelfristig sollen mobile Theatergruppen entstehen, die je nach Bedarf und Situation in verschiedenen Teilen des Landes arbeiten können und auch MultiplikatorInnenfunktion haben.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
