Overall goal


Ziel des Projekts ist es, die Produktion von Geflügel in Mosambik (und Uganda) auf nachhaltige Weise zu stärken.


Expected results


- abgeschlossene Vorbereitung des Roll-Out in Uganda

- mindestens 20 neue ingrower-TeilnehmerInnen pro Jahr in Mosambik

- verbesserter Zugang zu Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten und verbesserte Beratung für ca. 1.200 Hühnerfarmer

- verbesserte Rahmenbedingungen für die Geflügelbranche (durch Lobbying bei der Regierung)

- 23 lokale Unternehmen werden von dem Projekt in Mosambik profitieren.

 


Target group / Beneficiaries


Rund 1.200 Subsistenzbauern und andere Interessierte (zunächst in der Region um Maputo); durch die höherwertige Geflügelproduktion profitiert indirekt auch die mosambikanische Bevölkerung.


Activities


Die investierenden Firmen Saerslevgaard und danishknowhow haben ein Geschäftsmodell namens „ingrower“ entwickelt, das Elemente von Trainings, Kapazitätenaufbau und Zugang zu Finanzierung kombiniert. Es geht gleichermaßen um wirtschaftliche Nachhaltigkeit wie um sozialen Impakt. Aufbauend auf der bestehenden Einrichtung in Moamba (Bezirk Maputo) soll das Geschäftsmodell gestärkt und um eine digitale Beratungseinrichtung (App) erweitert werden. Zugleich wird die Idee auf Uganda übertragen bzw. ein an den lokalen Kontext angepasstes Geschäftsmodell entwickelt.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
