Ziel des vorgeschlagenen Projekts ist es einen Beitrag zur Reduktion von Asbest (und anderen gefährlichen Stoffen) in der Ukraine zu leisten.

 


Expected results


90 Lokale Unternehmen sollen profitieren, 45 neue Jobs geschaffen und 1.000 Menschen mit Trainings & Awareness Raising erreicht werden.

VertreterInnen von IFIs, Baufirmen, Regierungsstellen, Gesundheitseinrichtungen und Medien, sowie Studierende, IngenieurInnen und KonsulentInnen.


Activities


Ein Kompetenzzentrum in Kiew wird aufgebaut, das lokalen und internationalen Stakeholdern, insbesondere in der Baubranche, technische und organisatorische Dienstleistungen anbietet und verkauft. Bewusstsein für gefährliche Stoffe soll geschaffen und die lokalen Standards für ihren Einsatz verbessert werden. So wird ein Beitrag zur Sicherheit und Gesundheit der in der Branche Beschäftigten geleistet und Mensch und Umwelt vor schädlichen Einflüssen geschützt.


Context


Antragsteller ist die Firma Clean Energy Solutions GmbH, die seit mehr als zehn Jahren in der Ukraine tätig ist. Das Wiener Unternehmen ist auf Energieeffizienz/erneuerbare Energie-Projekte spezialisiert. Aus den damit verbundenen Umweltprüfungen hat sich die Erkenntnis entwickelt, dass das Interesse an und das Wissen über die Vermeidung gefährlicher Stoffe in der Ukraine bisher wenig verbreitet sind. In Kooperation mit dem lokalen Partner iC consulenten LLC entstand die Idee zum Aufbau der genannten Dienstleistungen.

  • Type of Aid – Aid modalities: classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds such as budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds to CSOs and multilateral organisations, project-type interventions, experts and other technical assistance, scholarships and student costs in donor countries, debt relief, administrative costs and other in-donor expenditures.
  • Purpose/ sector code: classifies the specific area of the recipient’s economic or social structure, funded by a bilateral contribution.
  • Tied/Untied: Untied aid is defined as loans and grants whose proceeds are fully and freely available to finance procurement from all OECD countries and substantially all developing countries. Transactions are considered tied unless the donor has, at the time of the aid offer, clearly specified a range of countries eligible for procurement which meets the tests for “untied” aid.
