Hintergrundinformation
The funding for this project is provided from the Austrian Foreign Disaster Aid Fund (AKF - 350,000 Euro) and the Liechtenstein Office for Foreign Affairs (45,000 Euro).
The breaking of the siege in Aleppo city in late August saw approximately 14,055 IDPs displaced into the countryside of Aleppo. Many of these communities received little to no humanitarian assistance, fleeing from constant aerial bombardments, having being displaced multiple times. Supply routes are still closed, aerial attacks have increased and needs in all sectors are high.
