This project is going on well and by the end of 2006, the access to water and sanitation facilities will have been increased from 65% to 75% (10 new schemes built); existing water and sanitation facilities are all functioning; all water caretakers are skilled, maintenance committees are active, Monks have the knowledge and skills on health, hygiene, child protection, HIV/AIDS behaviors, and regularly advocating on these issues among people in the community.
However, there are still many Monastic Institutions which need such assistance.
