Projektziel

The main aim of the project is to engage the services of the Senior Architect, Junior Architect and the House Building Expert to finalise the comprehensive Drawings, Designs, and Tender Documents for the Hotel and Tourism Management and Training Institute, and to assist in the Tender Evaluation, ensure mobilisation/planning and the smooth start up of the overall HTMTI project.

Presently, various tasks in the preparation of the Tender Documents for the construction components, as well as the technical/finishing components are in progress. With regard to the construction component, the Royal Government of Bhutan has awarded a contract to a local Architectural Firm for the preparation of the final design. The local Architect so far has not been able to finalise the comprehensive drawings owing to lack of adequate expertise and experience. This has lead to a considerable delay in the finalisation of the drawings and the tender documents. Therefore, there is an absolute necessity to have close coordination and monitoring between the tasks carried out by the various parties involved (Local Architect, Spectral and the Project Management Unit). The services of experienced architects and a HVAC expert are therefore required to ensure completion of the comprehensive drawings as scheduled and assist in the mobilisation/planning for smooth start up of the project
